The heavy-duty 8900 Series non-handed surface applied closer
with adjustable spring power and backcheck positioning adjustment.
The 8900 has intensity adjustable hydraulic backcheck
that will take effect at approximately 65º. The 8900 has two
independent, noncritical adjustment valves to control sweep and
latch closing speeds. The backcheck positioning valve maintains
an effective backcheck range on parallel arm applications. The
8916 will be available with field adjustable spring power from size
1 to 6 for barrier-free requirements.

The Falcon OHC100 and OHC101 Door Closer Body Only are designed for a wide variety of Doors.   The OHC100 is for use on larger exterior doors and has spring size adjustments of 3-5.   The OHC101 is designed for smaller or interior vestibule doors, with an adjustable spring size of 1-3.

Older models may be stamped with Scoville or Eaton, which are the companies that used to own Norton.
We sometimes find 20-1624-4001, or 20-1604-4001 stamped on the back of the closer. If your door closer is stamped 20-1603-4001 or 20-1623-4001, you might want to double check the hole spacing. The 20-1603-4001 usually has a hole spacing of 3/4" x 8-3/16", you could use the International Door Closer 853 as a replacement.

We ship the 1601 Norton Door Closer, which is a non size (meaning you can adjust the spring tension), which will work in place of the 1603BC, 1604BC, 1605BC and 1606BC.

International Door Closer 8052 Delayed Action

Same closer as the 8050 Series or 8051P, but with Delayed Action. Delayed Action is a function of the Door Closer hydrualic cylinder. The hydrualic cylinder will hold the door open for up to 30 seconds to allow physically challenged individuals time to get through the door way. The International Door Closer 3010-S Side Load Arm is used with the 200, 300 and 500 Series Concealed Overhead Door Closer for Center Hung Doors.   The arm is constructed of cast iron and measures 10" long, and 7/16" thick.   The package includes all the mounting screws.
