Order Detex Panic Devices
Our selection includes the heavy-duty Detex 10 Series Advantex Rim Device. This Detex panic device comes in aluminum or stainless steel in two different sizes.
Detex panic devices also come as battery-powered systems with alarms. With just a press of a panic bar, the Detex exit device alarm will sound. We carry several battery-powered Detex panic devices for you to choose from.
The ECL-230D Alarmed Detex Panic Device along with the ECL-230D-PH Alarmed Detex Panic Device come in gray or black and are battery-powered. These non-handed Detex panic devices feature a 100-decibel alarm. For doors that require panic hardware, use the ECL 230D-PH.
Another Detex panic device we offer is the EAX-300 Door Prop Alarm in gray or black. It is battery-powered with a 9-volt battery required. See installation instructions.
We also distribute the EAX-300W Weatherized Door Prop Alarm in gray or black. This battery-powered alarm uses a 9-volt battery. It is weatherized for doors that open to the outdoors or environments highly affected by the weather.
Detex panic devices that are weatherized are constructed to withstand extreme weather conditions. They are made to be installed specifically on doors that open to the outside of a facility. See installation instructions in order to properly apply to your door.
The EAX-500 Detex Panic Device is another battery-powered alarm which you can order from us in black and gray. This Detex panic device features a 100-decibel alarm that is triggered by unauthorized exits.
The EAX-500W Weatherized Detex Panic Device is similar in that its new smaller build makes for quick and simple installation on doors. The difference is that it is weatherized for application on out-swinging doors that open to potentially wet weather. They both require a 9-volt battery for operation.

Detex Corporation Company Details
Originally founded in the 1870s as a watchclock manufacturer, Detex Corporation has been producing some of the finest products for more than 100 years. Several decades later, the name Detex Watchclock Corporation was put in place to set it apart as a new company.
For a long time, the company only manufactured and sold watchclocks. It wasn’t until the 1960s that they introduced a security product line for use on entrances and exits in institutional, industrial, and educational facilities. Soon after, “Detex Watchclock Corporation” was shortened to simply “Detex Corporation.”
Although Detex Corporation discontinued manufacturing the Watchclock over ten years ago, they still manufacture Detex panic devices to this day. At Robert Brooke & Associates, we are proud to be distributing top-of-the-line Detex panic devices and other hardware from the same brand.

The Detex ECL-230D Alarmed Exit Device is a battery operated, rugged deadbolt panic device. The steel paddle is photo-luminescent sign providing managed security and a 100 decibel alarm for secondary exits. The device features a single point 1" dead bolt, attack resistant design withstands over 2200 pounds of outside pull force and is non handed. Locking and unlocking the dead bolt always arms and disarms the alarm. Rim Cylinder is not included.
