This is the shoe that LCN uses on some of there door closers for the parallel arm mounted door closers. A parallel arm closer is a door closer that has the arm parallel to the door when the door is closed. This part is also known as the 1260-62PA, 1460-62PA, 4030-62PA, and 4040-62PA. Ships with mounting screws.

The arm shown in the picture is a 4040SE arm, the 4110SE arm is the same, but the shaft hole is an oval.

LCN SEM7820 Magnetic Door Holder
LCN SEM7820 features a metal die cast housing that is surface mounted on the floor. Tri-voltage design works with 12, 24 or 120 volts, with 35 lbs. of holding force. The magnet housing measures 5-1/8" long x 4-9/16" wide and 3-7/16" high. The armature (door mount part) is 1-11/16" wide by 2-3/8" high with a 1-7/8" diameter. The armature projects out 1-5/8". The total projection of both pieces is 6-3/4". Available in an aluminum or dark bronze color.

LCN Door Closer Rod And Shoe
This piece fits into the female part of all LCN Regular Arms. The old style had two concave set screws and a ball pressed into the rod. If the door over rotated the ball would pull out of the concave set screws. The new version has a pin holding the rod to the shoe which is designed to fail if the door is over rotated. This piece will work on the LCN 1260, 1460, 4010, 4020, 4030 and 4040 door closers with regular arms. Some of the really old models have multiple threaded holes, so you might have to drill a hole in the female tube. Part #'s 4040-79, 4040-79LR and 4040-79ELR. The 1260, 1460, 4010, or 4020 could replace the 4040 in those part numbers, they are the same.
