This Von Duprin Strike is used for the bottom latch of the 2227, 8827, 9827 and 9927. The strike measures 1-7/8" by 1-7/8" outside dimension of the square flange, with an inside dimension of 1-1/8" by 1-1/8". The part that is inserted into the floor is 1-3/8" x 1-3/8" and drops down 13/16". Also known as a Von Duprin Floor Mounted Mortise Strike.

Covers the dogging assembly on the hinge side of the door. The usually fall off when the End Cap is not on the exit device.
