The Yale 7000 Cylinder Dogging Sub Assembly is used on non Fire Rated Yale and Corbin Russwin panic devices. Like the Hex Key Sub Assembly, this one is for use with a Key Cylinder.

Used on the Yale 7110, 7110F, 7120F, 7210MF, 7220MF, 2110F and 2110 Series Vertical Rod Exit Devices. And Corbin Russwin ED4400 and ED5400 Devices. The Top Strike no longer uses a Roller. Used as the Top Strike.
This latch assembly is used on non fire rated doors, meaning panic devices that you can not dog open with the allen key or key cylinder. Non fire rated doors are usually exterior doors.

This Yale Latch Assembly is used on fire rated panic devices. A fire rated panic is a device were you can not lock the latch in the open position. It is used on doors were the engineers want the door to latch every time it closes to contain a fire.
Used on the Yale 1500 Rim and Surface Vertical Rod Devices. This is the peice that the Dogging Key goes in to actuate the Dogging Piece. The Dogging Shaft measures 1-3/8" long and approximately 5/16" diameter. The hex is 5/32"
