Norton 8301 Door Closer, Sometimes called the Norton 8301 Omni Door Closer

This closer replaces the 8301BF Norton Door Closer. The standard 8301 now meets the Barrier Free Requirements.

Norton 8501 Door Closer, also known as the Norton 8501 Omni Door Closer, or 8501BF Door Closer.
We sometimes find 3301/3501 and 8301/8501 on the inside of the cover, along with the suffix BF (barrier free).

This Norton 8501 replaces the 8501BF. This newer model now meets the ADA Barrier Free requirements.

The heavy-duty 8900 Series non-handed surface applied closer
with adjustable spring power and backcheck positioning adjustment.
The 8900 has intensity adjustable hydraulic backcheck
that will take effect at approximately 65º. The 8900 has two
independent, noncritical adjustment valves to control sweep and
latch closing speeds. The backcheck positioning valve maintains
an effective backcheck range on parallel arm applications. The
8916 will be available with field adjustable spring power from size
1 to 6 for barrier-free requirements.

Older models may have SL72 or MS93 cast on the cylinders.
You may also find Clarksdale, MS cast on the cylinder also.

Dorma RTS88 Series overhead concealed door closer for both
single and double-acting doors. The RTS88 will consist of a steel
cam, rollers, and springs housed in a compact cast iron body.
Closers will be capable of being installed in minimum 1-3/4" x 4"
headers. RTS88 will have maximum door opening to 90º or 105º,
trim conditions permitting. Sweep and latch speed will be
controlled by two noncritical adjustment valves from 90º or 105º
to closed. Built-in pressure relief valve will protect the closer from
abuse caused by forced closing. A mechanical backcheck
combined with a positive stop at 90º or 105º will be provided to
protect the door and frame. The RTS88 closer will be available
with hold open at 90º or 105º, or without hold open. The product
shown here is just the replacement cylinder.

Standard new 4030 series closer is shipped with forged regular arm, metal cover and wood/self-tapping machine screw pack. Non-sized (1-4) 4031 cylinder for exterior doors to 36” (914 mm) and interior doors to 48” (1219 mm). Closer mounts hinge side, top jamb, and parallel arm, on either right or left
swinging doors. Closer meets ADA requirements.

The 4040SE Sentronic® is a heavy duty, non-handed, nonsized closer/holder designed to provide single point hold-open for fire and smoke barrier doors. The door is held open until current interruption releases the
holding mechanism and the door closes. Single lever (track) arm closer is specifically designed for interior doors. Choice of finishes, track functions, and installation accessories meet virtually all life safety requirements.

LCN Door Closer 4040SE Track Assembly 4040SE-3038

Complete replacement LCN Sentronic Track.
Replaces all Sentronic tracks for the 3130SE, 4010SE, 4110SE and 4040SE Closers.
Track includes the roller, 4040SE-3034 and new mounting screws. The replacement track measures 21-3/4" on center for the mounting screws, which may be different then the 3130SE, 4010SE, 4110SE and older 4040SE Tracks.

A tough mineral-coated waterproof non-slip surfacing with a pressure sensitive adhesive back. Helps grip foot traffic, preventing slipping, easy to apply; use inside or outside. Rectangular sizes with rounded corners or in rolls cut to any length. We suggest priming surfaces with Musson Grit Strip Adhesive before applying. Use adhesive where Grit Strip is applied to porous surfaces such as wood or concrete. Grit Strip adhesive is recommended as a sealer; will give a better, longer lasting bond. Recommended application temperature is 60 degrees and above. One quart covers approximately 50 square feet (single coat) of Grit Strip; available in quart and pint units.
