Powder coated steel bathroom partitions utilize the latest powder coating technology to provide a hard, but even and run-free finish. After a thorough cleaning and phosphate conversion process, electrical charges ensure that the powder paint adheres uniformly over the entire product surface. The powder is then oven baked to create an attractive, permanent and perfect finish that covers every area of the product and resists impact, abrasions, chemicals, detergents and acids.
Powder coating allows a greater paint thickness to be applied without compromising surface uniformity. The flexibility of powder coating allows partition manufacturers to offer a wide range of finishes and effects.
This product is the least inexpensive on the market and is often used with schools, churches, commercial businesses, and office buildings.
We do not recommend powder coated steel to be used in moisture areas or shower areas, as this product will rust over time.
Most partition manufacturers provide a warranty of 2-5 years, however, the toilet partitions will last up to 35 years if properly maintained.

The most common configuration for powder coated toilet partitions is an overhead braced floor mounted unit. Adding an anti grip top rail extruded aluminum offers maximum strength, rigidity, and a clean line appearance. All components are tack welded and interlocked under tension with a roll-formed oval crown-locking bar for continuous bonding and a permanent, hygienic seal. Door kits have many options from traditional wrap around, full length piano hinges and a concealed type that is a sleek design eliminates the need for exposed fasteners on the door face. The latching for the doors is a standard turn latch mechanism that has access from the outside of the door for ADA emergency. All brackets and door hardware components are zinc die-cast and plated with nickel and chrome to a gleaming finish. Pilaster shoes are a one-piece welded design of polished stainless steel.
Powder coated toilet partitions can also be ceiling hung braced which presents a clean, contemporary appearance. They permit quick, easy floor maintenance, especially when combined with wall-hung fixtures. Ceiling hung partitions are recommended for modernization where a drop ceiling or open span construction can be used.
Floor mounted units lend an air of spaciousness to these installations. The absence of top structure makes them the ideal choice for high ceiling areas and allows a wide range of complimentary architectural and interior decoration possibilities.
Floor to ceiling units are extremely strong and resistant to abuse as they are securely connected to the floor, ceiling and walls. This configuration is ideal for high abuse areas and installations that require extra durability.
In all of the different options for bracing the only thing that changes are the pilasters that go on either side of the doors. The partition doors hinge off and close onto a pilaster. Overhead braced is what the factory’s stock for quick shipping.
All bathroom partition manufacturers now offer a no sightline solution for maximizing privacy. In addition, most manufactures use a full height, continuous stop and hinge side filler to completely eliminates all sightline gaps around the door. A full length rubber bumper on the stop deadens sound and protects against wear. The versatility of the no sightline solution means it can be used in new and pre existing installations. Continuous stainless steel channels for all the panels and pilasters to create even more privacy.
