STAIR TREAD MOUNTING TAPE

Speeds installation of vinyl stair treads without the mess! Tape is sold in 4" wide rolls of 164 feet.

We recommend two strips of tape per tread. One on the nose and one at the back. As an example for the 36" tread you would need 72" or 6' of tape.

The 220-2520 is the Grit Stripped version of the 7850R Service Weight Smooth Rubber Treads.  The 220 comes with two 3/4" grit strips, the 2520 would be the visually impaired version with one 2" wide strip. The treads are 1/8" thick along the entire depth of the treads, and have a nose that drops down 1-9/16". They are designed for interior use.

Use adhesive where Grit Strip is applied to porous surfaces such as wood or concrete. Grit Strip adhesive is recommended as a sealer; will give a better, longer lasting bond. Recommended application temperature is 60 degrees and above. One quart covers approximately 50 square feet (single coat) of Grit Strip; available in quart and pint units.

The 2020 is a smooth surface rubber stair tread with Grit Stripping on the nose. These treads are the same as the 7020 Heavy Duty Treads with Grit Tape on the nose. You have two choices on the Grit Stripping, the Visual Impaired 1-2" wide or 2-3/4" wide grit tape strips. The treads are 1/4" thick at the nose and taper to 3/16" at the rear. These treads are only available in Square Nose. They are designed for interior use.

The GS780R Rubber Stair Tread is a Raised Disc.  It features an adjustable nose that drops down 1-9/16".  The nose is 1/8" thick.  You have two choices on the Grit Stripping, the Visual Impaired 1-2" wide or 2-3/4" wide grit tape strips. They are designed for interior use.

The GS620D Rubber Stair Tread with Grit Stripping. The GS620D is only available in the square nose.   This tread offers an 1/8" nose thickness, has an adjustable and tapered nose. You have two choices on the Grit Stripping, the Visual Impaired 1-2" wide or 2-3/4" wide grit tape strips. They are designed for interior use.

The GS520S Rubber Stair Tread with grit stripping has a 1/4" nose thickness which tapers down to 1/8" at the back.  The nose drops down 1-9/16", and the nose is not adjustable and is not tapered. You have two choices on the Grit Stripping, the Visual Impaired 1-2" wide or 2-3/4" wide grit tape strips. They are designed for interior use.

The GS820R is a low profile raised disc design for lighter traffic.  The tread is 3/16" thick at the nose and tapers to 1/8" at the back.  The nose has a 1-9/16" length.  You have two choices on the Grit Stripping, the Visual Impaired 1-2" wide or 2-3/4" wide grit tape strips.  These treads are easily trimed in the field with a straight edge and utility knife. The nose is not adjustable and is not tapered. They are designed for interior use.

The GS920R One-Piece Rubber Stair Tread has a 3/16" thick nose and tapers to 5-16" at the back.  The nose is adjustable and tapered for a perfect fit.  The benefit of a one piece tread is the ease of cleanng, there is not a groove at the back of the step to collect debris. You have two choices on the Grit Stripping, the Visual Impaired 1-2" wide or 2-3/4" wide grit tape strips. They are designed for interior use.

Improve safety and prevent worn carpet edges on steps; for new or renovation work. Butt 1/4” to 3/8” thick carpet against both the top and bottom lips of butt-type carpet nosing. Standard 8’ lengths; easily cut to size. Install with #400 Neoprene Contact Cement or #300 Water-based Contact Adhesive.

SPECIFICATIONS:

Furnish and install No.140 Koroseal Vinyl Ribbed Carpet Nosing; 3-1/8” deep; 2-1/2” nose depth; square adjusta-nose. Lap 5/16”, 1/4" or 3/8” carpet over lip on both the step and riser. Select from standard colors of black, brown.

Corner Guard CG-10 3" x 3"

90 degree 3” x 3” vinyl corner guard with aluminum retainer.  Vinyl flex action absorbs impact, and is .100” thick, the aluminum retainer is .062 thick.  Available in 4, 8 and 9 foot lengths.  Top and bottom end caps included with the corner guard.

Corner Guard CG-20 2" x 2"

90 degree 2” x 2” vinyl corner guard with aluminum retainer.  Vinyl flex action absorbs impact, and is .085” thick, the aluminum retainer is .062 thick.  Each corner guard includes the end caps.  Available in 4, 8 and 9 foot lengths.  Corner guards are shipped with a top and bottom end cap.
