Another feature is their well constructed shoe can be adjusted down as the rubber wears making the holder last way longer than their competitors. Another use for them is as a door floor lock if mounted on the other side of the door. Once kicked down there's no entry possible unless you slide a flat item under the door to lift the door holder leg out of the way and push the door open. It can be opened from the inside as normal with your foot or hand. A very inexpensive security lock.

Swing Up Grab Bar (1-1/4" O.D) - Smooth - With Detent Stops at 0°, 45° and 90° Positions.Features include flange of 3″ diameter, 1/8″ thick type 304 stainless steel with a satin finish; exposed mounting screw holes are drilled and countersunk. The Handicap Grab Bar is fabricated of #18 gauge stainless steel with a #4 satin finish.  They are available in 1 1/4” and 1-1/2” outside diameter.  All bars maintain a constant 1 1/2” offset, which is the distance between the inside of the bar and the mounting surface.  The mounting flanges have a 3” diameter.  We offer two types of mounting,  exposed screw mounting and snap on flange concealed. When properly installed they will easily support up to 250 pounds.  The recommended height for mounting these grab bars is 33 to 36” above the finished floor, but heights vary depending on local codes.  The overall length of a 12" grab bar is 15" due to the 3" diameter flanges.  Due to the various materials that these are mounted on, screws are not included.

LCN Door Closer Rod And Shoe

This piece fits into the female part of all LCN Regular Arms. The old style had two concave set screws and a ball pressed into the rod. If the door over rotated the ball would pull out of the concave set screws. The new version has a pin holding the rod to the shoe which is designed to fail if the door is over rotated. This piece will work on the LCN 1260, 1460, 4010, 4020, 4030 and 4040 door closers with regular arms. Some of the really old models have multiple threaded holes, so you might have to drill a hole in the female tube. Part #'s 4040-79, 4040-79LR and 4040-79ELR. The 1260, 1460, 4010, or 4020 could replace the 4040 in those part numbers, they are the same.
