Stamped stainless steel construction. Latch is 2" wide by 2-7/8" tall. Latch bolt is 2-3/4" long by 13/16" wide by 1/8" thick and has a throw of 25/32". This is the Top Latch Cover for the Von Duprin 8827-F. The 8827-F is the Fire Rated Surface Vertical Rod device usually used on interior doors to contain a fire. The Fire Rated version would not have dog screws to lock the device in the retracted postion.
