Metal chair foot with a 1 1/4" diameter base. Metal base glides are very popular in schools and institutions and move easily across smooth or carpeted floors.  Metal base glides are nickel plated and are extremely durable, but when they do wear out, they will scratch the floor.  The glide freely swivels beyond 30 degree angle. Glide grips the inside of hollow legs with a holding clip, meaning it grabs the inside of the leg.

Constructed of extruded anodized aluminum. Base is 1-5/16" wide by 54" long, with screw holes every 13" or so. The legs project out 1-3/8" with the thru hole at 1" from the back of the base. The legs have a clearance of 1" for 1" thick panels. Sometimes known as Bathroom Stall Continuous U Bracket. The manufacturers part numbers are 2794, 650-1968, 650-1968-54 and U Channel 1 x 54.
