Another feature is their well constructed shoe can be adjusted down as the rubber wears making the holder last way longer than their competitors. Another use for them is as a door floor lock if mounted on the other side of the door. Once kicked down there's no entry possible unless you slide a flat item under the door to lift the door holder leg out of the way and push the door open. It can be opened from the inside as normal with your foot or hand. A very inexpensive security lock.

The Offset 60 degree Door Pull is available in 8, 10 and 12 inch centers. The handle is constructed of 1 inch solid material, with the base metal determined by the finish (color). It features 1-1/8 clearance, 2-1/8 projection and has a 2 inch offset. The fasteners are 5/16-18 thru bolts with a finish washer. Please specify the door thickness when ordering.

This new LCN Door Closer is a direct replacement for the Norton 7500 and Yale 4400 Door Closers.  It features, a cast aluminum cylinder, 2-3/8” x 6-3/4” hole spacing, 25 year warranty, powder coated finishes, and stick on mounting template.  This door closer comes with the ability to mount on the push, pull or top jamb and is non handed.   The door closer meets Grade 1-ANSI A156.4, UL/cUL, ADA and the Buy American Act certifications.

Ives Floor Mounted Door Holder FS40

This floor mounted door holder has been around since the 1960's. It used to go by the name Glynn Johnson GJF40A or F40A, and was brought over to the H.B. Ives line in the 1990's. Many schools and hospitals have this door holder in use today. It features: Automatic door holders ideal for heavy-traffic situations that require a simple, fool-proof, Hold-Open device. Forged from brass. Unit is activated automatically when door is opened. A firm pull on door releases the mechanism. Strikes accommodate different door to floor clearances. The CRL PR90 is a Grade 1 door closer, the heaviest rating possible.  The template is the same as the LCN 4040 with the same features, latching speed, closing speed, back check and power adjustment from size 1 ADA compliant to size 6.

We offer the Standard Cylinder PR90 and also the Delayed Action PR92. Delayed Action will hold the door open for 15-20 seconds to allow handicap individuals to clear the opening before the door closes.

Older models may be stamped with Scoville or Eaton, which are the companies that used to own Norton.
We sometimes find 20-1624-4001, or 20-1604-4001 stamped on the back of the closer. If your door closer is stamped 20-1603-4001 or 20-1623-4001, you might want to double check the hole spacing. The 20-1603-4001 usually has a hole spacing of 3/4" x 8-3/16", you could use the International Door Closer 853 as a replacement.

We ship the 1601 Norton Door Closer, which is a non size (meaning you can adjust the spring tension), which will work in place of the 1603BC, 1604BC, 1605BC and 1606BC.

Norton New Style Replacement Door Closer Springs

This is the replacement door closer spring for the Norton 78, and Yale 1900 Door Closers. Spring measures 2-11/16" diameter by 2" tall. This spring is identifiable by the number stamped on the band that holds the spring together. The band will be stamped either B/D 2/4, or E/F 5/6.
