The Von Duprin 55EO Exit Device is used primarily on aluminum framed glass doors, otherwise known as Narrow Stile Doors.   It is one of the most heavy duty cross bar devices made, and has been in production since at least the 1970's. 

The International 8000 Series End Cap is used on the hinge side of the the exit device.  This cap includes the mounting bracket and the mounting screws.   It is constructed of a die cast metal for years of service.  The piece measures 2-3/8" by 2-1/4" by 1-1/2".  This end cap is used on the International Door Closer models, 8510S, 8610S, 8710S, 8810S, 8620S, 8530S, and 8650S devices, along with the same devices ending in F.

The Von Duprin 050671 and 050814 solenoid have been discontinued.  All of our stock is gone.  Von Duprin has come out with a retrofit kit to update your E996 Lever to the M996 Lever. The kit changes out the solenoid for a mortorized version, more robust and uses less current. The newer version can be found by searching for M996.

This solenoid is used on the E996 Electrified Lever Trim.  The Solenoid body measures 1-3/8” x 9/16” diameter, mounting bracket has a 3/4” on center hole spacing.  The wiring harness has a two wire plug.  We some times fine the number 991342 on the solenoid.

New for 2024 Von Duprin has come up with a Mechanical Electrified Conversion kit. This kit converts the EL Solenoid to a Mechanical Electrified Trim.  More information can be found @ https://www.robertbrooke.com/von-duprin-m996l-retrofit-kit.html

This is the same trusted Von Duprin 99 with Electric Latch Retraction, also known as EL.

The EL feature allows for the remote unlatching of exit devices. A control station operator can flip a switch to retract the latch bolt and immediately change an exit door to push-pull operation. A powerful, continuous duty solenoid retracts the latch bolt, either for momentary unlatching, or for extended periods of time. The EL feature is an alternative to manual dogging.

The rim device is non-handed.

Ives Roller Latch RL1130

The Ives Roller Latch RL1130 is a combination of the RL30 and an Angle Stop.  Tension is easy to adjust with the two tension screws on the face plate.

The 594 is constructed of solid brass. The latch bolt is 5/8 inch half round with a 9/16 inch throw.  The bolt ships with mounting screws and strike. The latch bolt has a chamfered end to draw the door in.

Cal-Royal 9000 Series Lever Trim HDESC is for use on the 9800 and 9800 Exit Devices. The Trim has a clutch mechanism to prevent breaking and two heavy duty springs to prevent sagging. Escutcheon measures 2-5/8 inches wide by 10-5/8 inches long.  The lever projects out 2-7/8 inches. Key locks or unlocks lever.

DORMA 9300 Series Exit Devices minimize forced entry while offering a low-cost solution to life safety requirements. Certified/listed to ANSI/BHMA 156.3 Grade 1 for exit devices. Package includes all the mounting screws and brackets, and the surface strike.  5 year limited warranty.

The 9400 series is a slim-line, surface mounted electric strike designed to accommodate rim exit devices with a 1/2" throw Pullman latchbolt. All components are completely encased within its 1/2" thick stainless steel housing, so no cutting on the frame is required for installation. Simply place the electric strike on the surface of the frame, align it with the exit latchbolt, and install. An 1/8" spacer plate is provided to accommodate varying door gaps. The 9400 exceeds Grade 1 standards for strength and performance. It is field selectable for fail secure or fail safe operation, and for 12 or 24 VDC. The Cal Royal GLS7700 Rim Device is for use on Aluminum Framed Glass Doors when the Stile width is 1-3/4 inch or more.  The exit device ships with wood and machine screws, along with the Strike plate.  The stainless steel latch bolt has a 3/4 inch throw. This device is a Grade 1, which is the heaviest duty rating.
