This Von Duprin Strike is used for the bottom latch of the 2227, 8827, 9827 and 9927. The strike measures 1-7/8" by 1-7/8" outside dimension of the square flange, with an inside dimension of 1-1/8" by 1-1/8". Typically used with new construction but can be used on existing partitions. Designed to join a Pilaster and Panel in-line to eliminate sightline gaps to provide additional privacy. The indented rounded curve is where the Pilaster(1-1/4" Thickness) will attach, while the open end of channel is where the panel(1" Thickness) with attach.
