The Swivel Glide 5/8" Outside Diameter with Ferrule Outside Holding Clip is used on American Desk, Artco Bell, Carter Craft, Krueger, Peabody and Virco Chairs. Metal base glides are very popular in schools and institutions and move easily across smooth or carpeted floors.  Metal base glides are nickel plated and are extremely durable, but when they do wear out, they will scratch the floor.  The glide freely swivels beyond 30 degree angle. 10" and 12" only, if you have an older larger size, please use the A.W. Anderberg 301ST or A.W. Anderberg 301SS as a replacement. You might have to shim the tracks in these cases, because the stack height is lower on the steel and stainless steel hinges. A.W. Anderberg no longer makes the larger sizes of the Aluminum Hinges due to the brittle nature of aluminum.

Sold individually, we recommend changing both hinges with you are replacing the hinge.
