The Cal-Royal 9800 Rim Device is a grade 1 Heavy Duty Exit Device.   The 9800 has the same template as the 8800 and 9800 with escutcheon lever trim. The Von Duprin 090039 is used in the push bar assembly to return the latch. It is known as the Base Plate Latch Return Spring or Latch Return Spring. It is used on the 22, 33A, 35A, 98 and 99 Devices. The spring is 2-1/4 inch long with a 3/8 inch diameter.

The plate is constructed of .050" wrought metal, in either solid aluminum, brass or stainless steel, with Door Pull GHE20 -8" center. Handles come with thru bolts, finish washers and the plates come with sheet metal screws that fit the countersunk holes.

The wall mounted strike has a pivoting head to adjust to different wall angles.  Constructed of cast brass that is then satin chrome plated.  Base is 3-11/16 x 3 inches, with an 1-15/16 inch projection.  The strke projects 3-1/4 inches.
