Metal Door Automatic Flush Bolts FB31P

Fully automatic-inactive door is latched, bolts are extended when active door closes, door is unlatched, bolts retract when active door is opened. The Ives FB31P Body is 1” wide by 6-3/4” long and 2” deep. Bolt throw is 3/4” with a 7/8” adjustment with a 3/4” backset,  standard rod is 12” which is measured from the center of latch body to the bolt tip.

There is a 3 week lead time for non stock colors. The color chart shows an American flag which indicates a quickship color. All stalls doors come with a standard chrome plated door kit which includes wrap hinges, keeper and latching. Stainless steel hardware is available. The door widths start out at 23"-36" available. All doors are 1/4" narrower than door size for gapping and are 58" tall. All sizes are for the opening you have. A 36" door is for a 36" opening. Note we now offer Square Edge wrap hinges which are not very common, most have a slight round edge.

The latch bolt clearance is 9/16" from the back of the base to the underside of the latch bolt and projects out 15/16". The latch projects out 1-9/16" from the face of the door when installed. The Doromatic Latch Screw PB17 is also known as the SCREW.1029.  The screw is a 10-32-1/4" with an undercut head.  This screw is used to hold the top and bottom latches on the door for the 1690 and 1990 series devices.
