The PBB Shim Hinge is for use in Fire Doors where the doors are not square.  Putting cardboard or wood shims on fire doors is prohibited, so they have come up with a solution where one of the leaves are drilled tapped and a set screw is inserted.  These hinges are only available in 4.5 x 4.5 sizes in brushed chrome finish. The Truth 14.80 hinge is the most common of the Truth Stainless Steel Casement Hinges. The stainless steel track is 10" long, the glide is a plastic coated steel. The most common problem on this hinge is the shoe. The 8800 features the Starwheel locking bolt that interlocks door to the door frame.  This device is used exclusively on aluminum framed glass storefront doors.  If your door is 35" wide, then you would order the 36" device.  We want to make sure they device is wide enough to span the glass on the storefront doors.  Replacement parts are available.

Automatic Floor Type Holder and Stop
